Over the past few years, we've been wondering when the Grand Caravan - as we know it, will retire. Earlier, we found out that the Dodge Grand Caravan would be discontinued, allowing the Chrysler Pacifica to thrive in it's place. Recently, we have just found out that Canada will rename their Pacifica look-alike the new Grand Caravan. FCA's van segment will be fully branded from Chrysler rather than Dodge.
We've been given a small snap shot of what some features in the new minivan will be;
- Award-winning 3.6L Pentastar VVT V6 with 287 HP, 262 lb-ft of torque
- Segment-first nine-speed automatic transmission
- Best-in-class towing capacity of up to 3,600 lbs - when properly equipped
- 7 passenger seating
- Stow'n Go seating
- Parkview rear backup camera
- Active noise cancellation system
- Uconnect 4 multimedia center with 7-inch touchscreen
- Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto
- SiriusXM satellite radio
- Overhead DVD entertainment system
